Who we are

This policy explains how EuroLaunch (“we”) uses the information you give us on this website and when you take our European expansion readiness assessment at app.eurolaunch.co.uk. We are the data controller for that information.

Questions about this policy or your data: hello@eurolaunch.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us — your name, email address and anything else you include when you use our contact form or email us.
  • Consultation bookings — your name, email address and any notes you add when you book a call with us.
  • Your assessment answers — the markets you’re considering and your answers to the assessment questions, saved as you go, along with your name, email address, company size, industry and, if you choose to share it, revenue range.
  • Technical information — cookies that remember your cookie choice and your progress through the assessment (see our cookie policy); on the assessment, browser signals used to check that form submissions come from a person, not a bot, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address used to limit how many emails can be sent from one connection; and page-view statistics (see below).

How we use it

  • To reply to you — answering your message or arranging and holding the consultation you booked. We do this because you asked us to.
  • To give you your results — calculating your readiness score, showing your report and emailing you a copy. We do this because you asked us to.
  • To follow up with you — our team may contact you about your enquiry or your results and how we could help. This is in our legitimate interest in growing our business.
  • To send you marketing — occasional emails with EuroLaunch insights and updates, based on our legitimate interests. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using it or emailing hello@eurolaunch.co.uk.
  • To improve our sites — we use Google Analytics to measure visits and page usage on this website and the assessment. If you accept analytics cookies, it uses them to recognise returning visitors; we rely on your consent for that, and you can change your mind at any time in cookie settings. If you don’t, it counts visits anonymously without cookies, based on our legitimate interest in understanding how our sites are used. Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled. This website also counts page views with Jetpack Stats, which doesn’t use cookies.
  • To protect our sites — blocking automated and abusive submissions, also in our legitimate interests.

We don’t sell your information or share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers who handle your information only on our instructions:

  • Automattic (WordPress.com) — hosts this website and counts visits to it with Jetpack Stats.
  • Our app hosting provider — hosts the assessment, provides bot protection and counts visits to it.
  • Our database provider — stores your assessment answers and details.
  • Our email provider — sends and receives our emails.
  • Cal.com — manages consultation bookings.
  • Google — provides Google Analytics, which counts visits to our sites.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages, answers and details for as long as they’re useful for following up with you and for our marketing, and delete them when you ask us to. If you unsubscribe, we keep just enough to make sure we don’t email you again.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it to someone else. You can also object at any time to us using it for marketing or for our legitimate interests. To do any of these, email hello@eurolaunch.co.uk. We’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
